Laying the foundation stone of the women’s hostel at the Government Institute of Food Processing Technology today, Shri Maurya said that the food processing sector is an important medium to strengthen the economy of the country and the state. The need of the hour is to develop modern educational institutions and necessary facilities to prepare trained human resources in this field. Construction of women’s hostel is an important step in this direction, which will provide better educational environment to the girl students and they will be able to play an effective role in building a self-reliant India.
It is continuously working to strengthen the infrastructure, modernize technical institutions and provide employment-oriented education to the youth. Unprecedented development work is being done in the field of education, skill development and infrastructure in the state, the benefits of which are reaching every section of the society.
During the program, the Deputy Chief Minister laid necessary instructions on completing the construction work within the stipulated time and with high quality and gave necessary instructions to the concerned officials. He expressed confidence that this hostel will develop as a safe, modern and inspiring residential complex for the girl students of the state. On this occasion, officials of the institute, public representatives, educationists, students and other distinguished citizens were present.
