Ranchi, 08 April (HS). Argora police station of Ranchi has arrested two smugglers with ganja. Four kilos and 140 grams of ganja, two mobile phones and a scooter have been recovered from them.
SSP Chandan Kumar Sinha said on Monday that secret information was received that ganja and other intoxicants were being bought and sold near Harmu Chowk. After the information, a special raid team was formed under the leadership of Hatia DSP. The team took immediate action and raided the said place and arrested two smugglers. They were identified as Shiva Pradhan and Arif Khan, resident of Pudang. Ganja in two separately packed packets was recovered from both of them. A smuggler escaped during the raid. Raids are being conducted for his arrest. The arrested smugglers have admitted to buying and selling ganja during interrogation.
