The biggest threat has been expressed regarding lightning, which often proves fatal in Jharkhand. Meteorologists have given a clear warning that when rain starts with thunder and lightning, people should not under any circumstances take shelter in open fields, fields or under trees. Staying inside concrete houses is the safest solution in this season.

Local administration ready, advisory regarding water logging and traffic

Due to continuous rains, a situation of water logging may arise in Ranchi and surrounding low-lying areas. In view of this, local district administrations have put disaster management teams on alert. Due to low visibility on the roads, drivers have been advised to drive slowly. Farmers have also been instructed to avoid going to the fields until the weather becomes normal.
