Traveling without documents becomes a problem 52 Indian citizens who had set out on the holy pilgrimage to Kailash Mansarovar are currently in trouble in Nepal’s capital Kathmandu. The journey of these pilgrims has come to a halt due to lack of mandatory documents like valid Chinese visa and entry permit. As soon as the news of stranded pilgrims came to light, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has issued an advisory with immediate effect. The Ministry has clarified that starting the Yatra without the necessary documents is not only illegal, but it can also cause great trouble for the devotees.
Attention Check these things before booking The Ministry of External Affairs has cautioned the devotees to exercise utmost caution while booking the journey. Travel only through tour operators who are duly registered and authorized. According to the ministry, many times operators keep pilgrims in the dark by giving false assurances of getting permits, which results in problems during the journey. It is mandatory to check the operator’s credibility and permit status before booking, to avoid any inconvenience later.

He met Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar has urged the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu and the Embassy in Beijing to intervene immediately. Supriya Sule has demanded through social media that all necessary assistance should be provided to ensure the safe journey of these 52 pilgrims. At present, the administration is considering options to evacuate these devotees and make their onward journey smooth. If you are also planning to visit Manasarovar, then make sure that you have all the documents ready.
