Politics has intensified regarding the Lok Sabha elections. On one hand BJP is claiming 400 plus and on the other hand Indi alliance is busy in stopping PM Modi's victory chariot. Meanwhile, Congress and National Conference have announced to jointly contest elections on 6 Lok Sabha seats of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh under the Bharat Alliance. Seat distribution has also been announced in this regard.

National Conference vice-president and former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah announced the alliance with the Congress at a joint press conference in Delhi. After this, Omar Abdullah said that today with great joy Congress and National Conference will formally contest elections together in Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh. We are confident that Bharat Alliance will win these 6 seats. Both parties will contest elections on 3 seats each. Congress will contest elections on Udhampur, Jammu and Ladakh seats. Whereas National Conference will field candidates from Anantnag, Srinagar and Baramulla.
When will voting take place on which seat?
Voting will be held on Udhampur seat of Jammu and Kashmir on April 19. Whereas voting on Jammu seat will be held on 26th April. Voting for Anantnag and Rajouri seats is to be held on May 7. Voting for Srinagar seat will be held on May 13. Voting for Baramulla seat is finally scheduled on May 20. Voting for the only Lok Sabha seat of Ladakh will also be held on May 20.
