RVUNL Recruitment 2026: Massive recruitment for 2,005 posts across Rajasthan’s five power companies-a golden opportunity to become a Junior Engineer or Accountant.

Rajasthan Electricity Department Recruitment 2026: A very good news has emerged for the youth preparing for government jobs in Rajasthan. Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RVUNL), a Rajasthan government undertaking, has issued a short notification to fill 2,005 vacancies in five major government power companies of the state.

This recruitment has been issued under advertisement number RVUN/Rectt.-2026-27/01. Through this big recruitment process, online applications have been invited from eligible candidates for the posts of Junior Engineer-I, Junior Accountant and Junior Assistant/Commercial Assistant-II.

Detailed notification will come in the second week of July, know when the applications will start.

According to the notification issued by RVUNL, all the detailed guidelines related to this recruitment like – detailed requirements of educational qualification, complete schedule of online application, exam syllabus and complete details of selection process. Second Half of July 2026 Will be released officially. The application link will become active as soon as the detailed notification comes. Candidates will be able to apply in online mode only by visiting the official websites of the participating power companies.

Through this joint recruitment examination, appointments will be made in five big power distribution, generation and transmission companies of Rajasthan:

1. Rajasthan State Electricity Generation Corporation Limited (RVUN)

2. Rajasthan State Electricity Transmission Corporation Limited (RVPN)

3. Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JVVN)

4. Ajmer Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (AVVN)

5. Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (JdVVN)

Complete details of post wise vacancies:

A total of 2,005 posts are divided into different categories as follows:

• Junior Engineer-I (Total 869 Posts): most of it 727 posts for Electrical Branch Have been decided. Apart from this, there will be recruitment for 110 posts for Mechanical Branch and 32 posts for Civil Branch.

• Junior Assistant/Commercial Assistant-II: most for this 765 posts Have been declared.

• Junior Accountant: In this department for youth from commerce background 371 posts Have been kept safe.

Note: All posts will get the benefit of category-wise reservation as per the rules of the state government.

What is the required qualification and age limit for application?

If you are thinking of applying for these posts, it is mandatory for you to have the following qualifications:

• Age Limit: For this recruitment, the minimum age of the applicants should be between 18 years and maximum age should be between 28 years. Reserved category candidates will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per government rules.

• Junior Engineer (JE): Candidate should have at least 3 years Diploma in relevant engineering stream (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil) or BE/B.Tech degree from a recognized institute or university.

• Junior Accountant: The applying candidate must have a graduation degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related subject.

• Junior Assistant/Commercial Assistant-II: The candidate must be a graduate in any stream and must have good computer knowledge (computer proficiency) and typing skills.

How much will the application fee be?

While filling the online form candidates have to pay the category wise examination fee which is as follows:

• General/Unreserved Category (UR): ₹1,000

• SC, ST, BC, EWS, PWBD and Sahariya Category: ₹500

Payment Mode: The examination fees can be easily paid through online modes like BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Credit Card or accepted Debit Card.

Selection process and salary: You will get excellent salary under pay level 10.

Eligible candidates will be selected for these posts on the basis of three stages:

1. Written Exam

2. Document Verification

3. Medical Examination

Candidates for the post of Junior Engineer (JE) will be assessed through a written examination of 200 marks. Junior Engineers to be finally selected Pay Level 10 under ₹33,800 per month Will get a basic salary of Rs., to which will also be added other allowances and facilities payable by the State Government.
