Why is monsoon stuck in Maharajganj for the last 15 days?

normal date of monsoon Expected to reach this year main reason for delay
20 June (Entry in entire UP) 26 to 27 June active till Weak seasonal winds on UP-Bihar border

Usually, monsoon covers a large part of Uttar Pradesh by June 20. But this time, after reaching the South-West Monsoon on the UP-Bihar border, it has been stuck in Maharajganj and surrounding areas for the last 15 days. It is a matter of relief that the monsoon has now advanced rapidly over South and Central India and the conditions are completely favorable for it to move towards North India in the next 48 hours. It is hoped that 26-27 June By 2020, monsoon clouds will drench the entire Uttar Pradesh.
