A wonderful and historic initiative has been started under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s ‘Visit My State’ campaign to promote religious and cultural tourism in Uttar Pradesh. Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (UPSTDC) has regularized 5 major religious weekend tour packages for the convenience of devotees.
Now devotees will not have to wait for long holidays to visit Ayodhya, Naimisharanya, Chitrakoot or Vindhyachal Dham. Now special buses will operate regularly for these major Dhams on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of every week, which is being started from this very weekend.
The journey will not be canceled even if there are two passengers; Both online and offline booking started
Minister of Tourism and Culture Jaiveer Singh announced the diplomatic benefits and facilities to be provided to the devotees under the scheme:

Local employment and religious tourism will get new momentum
Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department believes that with the regularization of these packages, the travel of middle class families and elderly people will become very comfortable. Travelers will now be free from the mental stress of making separate arrangements for hotel, vehicle or guide. This step will not only develop a new culture of ‘weekend tourism’ in UP, but will also provide bumper employment opportunities to local hotels located at religious places, shopkeepers, guides and youth associated with the transport sector.
