Russian air defense systems displayed utmost alertness and shot down a total of 59 Ukrainian drones in the air. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, this was one of the largest ever drone attacks on Moscow, which was foiled by the Russian military in time, thereby averting a major potential threat.
Airports closed, air services disrupted
Security protocols have been activated after the drone attack. Aircraft movement was stopped at four major airports in Moscow, due to which passengers had to face a lot of problems. However, Russian officials say the situation is under control and efforts are being made to resume air operations soon. Russia’s counterattack in Odessa, destruction by ballistic missile

On Sunday evening, the Russian Army launched a massive attack on the southern Odessa area of Ukraine with Iskander ballistic missile. One civilian is reported dead in this attack, while three others are said to be seriously injured. Due to this attack on an agricultural plant located in Odessa district, a massive fire broke out in the vehicles and fuel storage tanks parked there, causing huge damage. Ukrainian emergency teams are currently engaged in relief and rescue operations.
