“Don’t tarnish Ayodhya’s name; if we’ve waited 500 years, we can wait another 15 days”—major statement regarding the Ram Mandir donation theft controversy. Don’t defame Ayodhya, if you wait for 500 years then do 15 more days’, big statement on Ram temple donation theft controversy

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken on the opposition and critics over the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya and the donation controversy related to it. The Chief Minister has warned in strong words that the conspiracy to defame the holy city of Ayodhya and Lord Shri Ram’s Dham for political selfishness should be stopped. Putting an end to various discussions going on in social media and political circles regarding the accounts and donation amount of Ram Temple, CM Yogi made it clear that the entire process is transparent and everyone should be patient till the investigation is completed.

It is wrong to target Ayodhya for political gains

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while addressing a public forum, said that the issue of Ram Janmabhoomi is linked to the faith of crores of people. Today, after centuries of struggle and sacrifice of saints, Ayodhya is regaining its glory. In such a situation, some people are making false and fabricated allegations on the donations and arrangements of the temple just to earn their political ends. He said in clear words that those who were happy to see Lord Ram in a tent for 500 years, today they are not able to digest the grand temple.

Advised to be patient for 15 more days

Speaking on the allegations of discrepancies in Ram Mandir Trust and donation amount, CM Yogi said that if any complaint comes in any system, it is investigated with complete impartiality. He said that when Sanatan Samaj has waited 500 years for the temple, can’t they wait for 15 more days for the correct results of the investigation? The Chief Minister assured that every penny of the Ram Temple is safe and no one will be allowed to play with faith.

Transparent system and government’s stance

The Uttar Pradesh government and Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust are completely serious about the development and security of Ayodhya. CM Yogi said that today Ayodhya is emerging as the cultural capital not only of Uttar Pradesh or the country, but at the global level. Thousands of crores of rupees are being spent here for local development, infrastructure and facilities for devotees. In such a situation, it is extremely unfortunate to drag the temple into controversies just to grab headlines without any solid evidence.
