A very horrifying case has come to light from Begusarai district of Bihar which has completely shaken the law and order and humanity. Here, five bullies forcibly entered a house, first locked the woman’s husband in a room and took her hostage, and then kidnapped the woman, took her to a deserted place and allegedly gang-raped her.
In this shocking case, the condition of the victim became more serious when during the hospital treatment and detailed medical examination, the doctors recovered a live cartridge (bullet), stone and a piece of wood from her private part. After this gruesome revelation, there is an atmosphere of immense tension and anger in the entire area.
Five accused entered the house at midnight; Attacked with blade when protested
This inhuman incident happened on the night of 11 June 2026 in a village under Chakia police station area of Begusarai. According to the official statement recorded by the victim, she had come out of the house at around 11:30 pm on the night of the incident for household work and defecation. Meanwhile, five armed criminals who came in ambush forcibly entered his house.

Husband taken hostage: The accused first threatened the woman’s husband with weapons and locked him in an isolated room of the house by locking it from outside.

Kidnapping and vandalism: As soon as the woman came back into the courtyard of the house, the accused gagged her to stop her from screaming and forcibly dragged her to an isolated ruined area away from the village. There the five accused gang-raped her.

Attacked with a blade: The victim told the police that when she tried to raise noise and protest with all her might to save her face, the criminals attacked her with the intention of killing her. Multiple attacks on his chest, arms and thigh with a blade. Due to which she bled and became unconscious on the spot.
Shocking revelation happened during treatment; cruelty committed while unconscious
After regaining consciousness after the incident, the victim somehow reached her home and pulled her husband out of the room. After the local police was informed, the victim was immediately referred to the nearby Barauni Hospital under police supervision and later to the District Sadar Hospital for better treatment.

When pain increases, open question: During initial first aid, doctors treated the cuts and bleeding on the woman’s body and considered the pain to be the result of external injuries sustained during the attack. But even after two days, when the woman’s internal pain became unbearable and her health started deteriorating, a thorough internal medical examination was conducted under the supervision of senior surgeons.

Bullet came out of private part: During this detailed medical examination, the doctors were stunned when a live cartridge, a sharp stone and a piece of wood were found stuck inside the woman’s private parts. Doctors immediately took out these things through minor surgery. The victim says that since she had become unconscious due to severe injuries and shock during the incident, she herself had no knowledge about the extremeness and cruelty committed by the criminals.
“There was an attack three months ago also, the police did not take action”
The victim, who is fighting for life and death in Sadar Hospital, has also made serious allegations against the functioning of the local administration and police. The woman claims that about three months ago, three named criminals of the area had forcibly entered her house. At that time also she was brutally beaten and an attempt was made to sexually assault her. During that time, the accused had fled away after looting thousands of rupees in cash and gold and silver jewelery kept in the house.
According to the woman, even at that time a written complaint about the incident was lodged in the local police station, but the police succumbed to the influence of the accused and did not take any concrete punitive action. The victim alleges that if the police had taken strict action three months ago, such a big and shameful incident would not have happened to her today.
Police statement: Investigation continues on the basis of scientific evidence, policemen will be punished for negligence
In view of the increasing public anger over this sensitive and serious matter, senior police officers of the district themselves are monitoring. Taking charge of the investigation of the case DSP Anand Kumar Pandey told the media:
“This entire matter is being thoroughly investigated through scientific and forensic methods. A case has been registered on the basis of the statement of the victim. Prima facie the medical report and the team of doctors have confirmed the recovery of live cartridges from the woman’s private parts and serious internal injuries, which prove the claims of the victim to be true. Several police teams and Special Task Force (STF) are continuously conducting raids to nab the accused. Along with this, the role of policemen who were negligent on the earlier complaint given by the woman is also being investigated; if laxity of the police is revealed at any level, departmental action will be taken by immediately suspending the concerned policemen.”
At present, the condition of the victim is critical but stable and a special team of doctors in the hospital is engaged in her counseling and treatment, while the entire Begusarai district is demanding the early arrest of the accused and their death sentence.
