‘Comparing Sachin Tendulkar and Vaibhav Suryavanshi…’, former Indian captain’s big statement; you will be shocked to hear it. Sachin vs Vaibhav: Krishnamachari Srikkanth angry over comparison with Sachin Tendulkar, said- ‘Let him be the son of God, stop the comparison’

Vaibhav Suryavanshi, the new rising star of Indian cricket, is making headlines these days. There is a lot of discussion among cricket fans and experts about this young player who is on the threshold of making his debut in international cricket for India at the age of just 15. People have started comparing Vaibhav with Sachin Tendulkar, who is called the God of Cricket, because Vaibhav is close to breaking Sachin’s record of debut at the youngest age. However, former Indian captain Krishnamachari Srikkanth has taken a tough stance on these comparisons and given an important advice to the fans.

‘Nobody can match Sachin’

While talking to PTI, Krishnamachari Srikkanth clearly said that there is no point in comparing Sachin Tendulkar and Vaibhav Suryavanshi. Srikkanth said in his own style, “Sachin is the God of cricket, and this boy Vaibhav Suryavanshi is the ‘son of God’. Leave them alone. I do not believe in comparing players of two different eras. Sachin is Sachin and no one can come close to him.” He appealed to the people that this debate should end here and Vaibhav should be left free to showcase his talent.

Amazing ability of Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s game

Rejecting the comparison, Srikanth praised Vaibhav’s technique and mental strength. He said, “Vaibhav’s performance in T20 and U-19 cricket has been amazing. His shot selection, wrist speed and bat swing speed are amazing. The most important thing is his steady mind. His innings played under pressure against Gujarat Titans proved that he can not only play aggressively but can also stay at the crease and play long innings. He is hungry for runs and knows how to dominate the game.”

Way of the future: It is important to avoid pressure

The former captain further said that Vaibhav has a bright future, but we should allow him to develop as a special player. We should encourage them instead of comparing them with others. Vaibhav is currently playing the Tri-Nation Series with the India A squad on the Sri Lanka tour, where Team India has secured its place in the finals. Now Vaibhav’s performance in the final match to be held on June 21 will be worth watching. Srikkanth believes that if we let Vaibhav play without the pressure of any big name, then Indian cricket can get a big star.
