His daily routine was so tough that he would reach home at 4 in the morning, and then go out with his wife Ravneet to distribute newspapers. The struggle can be gauged from the fact that to run the household, they simultaneously worked as security guards, newspaper delivery and cleaning in the mall.

His wife also used to do security guard duty after working from 6 am to 4 pm. He said, “In the evening, we used to work in the mall for 2-3 hours, where my wife used to pick up people’s trays in the food court and I used to do cleaning work.” This was the time when Gippy worked day and night to release his second album.
