Regular commercial flights are going to start fully from June 15 from Jewar Airport (Noida International Airport), one of the most modern airports of the country located in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. The airport authority and the concerned airlines have completed all their preparations for this much-awaited launch. With the operationalization of this airport, not only will the pressure on Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) Delhi be reduced, but the journey of crores of passengers of western Uttar Pradesh will also become very easy.

The first plane will take off with the first ray of morning, know the exact timing

The morning of 15th June is going to be very historic for Jewar Airport. According to official sources and aviation timetable, the first commercial domestic flight from Jewar Airport will take off at exactly 06:20 am. With this inaugural flight touching the sky from the runway, the airport will formally become active on the air map of the country and the world. In the initial phase, direct connectivity is being provided to selected major metro cities like Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Hyderabad. For the convenience of passengers, check-in counters and security check counters will be activated 3 hours before the scheduled time, so that passengers do not face any kind of problem on the first day.

Digital airport equipped with modern technology, passengers will get this completely new experience

Jewar’s Noida International Airport is in the news for its unique and state-of-the-art technologies. Passengers will get a completely paperless and contactless travel experience at this airport. ‘DigiYatra’ facial recognition technology is being implemented here mandatory and very smoothly from the beginning, due to which passengers will not have to stand in long queues. Apart from this, Advanced Automated Tray Retrieval System (ATRS) and state-of-the-art security equipment have been installed for quick checking of luggage. From the environmental point of view, this is India’s first Net-Zero Emission greenfield airport, which will work completely on eco-friendly energy.

This airport is being directly connected to Yamuna Expressway, Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and the upcoming Rapid Rail (RRTS) and Metro network. With its commencement, people of Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Aligarh, Mathura and Agra will no longer be forced to go to Delhi to catch flights. The Uttar Pradesh government has also introduced special feeder bus services to reach the airport, which will drop passengers from nearby major railway stations and bus terminals directly to the departure gate of Jewar Airport.
