In the new master plan, maximum attention has been given to transport and connectivity. The government aims that it should not take more than 30 minutes to reach main Delhi or other major hubs from any new city of NCR. To make this ’30-minute connectivity’ vision a reality, a network of rapid rail (RRTS), new metro routes, expressways and pod taxis is being laid that will directly connect all the 8 new cities. Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, Dwarka Expressway and KMP Expressway are being linked to the main roads of these new cities in such a way that people can get freedom from traffic jams forever.
