Bus owners say that after the year 2021, i.e. for the last 59 months, there was no revision in bus fares in the state, due to which increasing the fare had now become completely inevitable.

Similarly, the fare from Ranchi to Dhanbad has increased to ₹ 425. Talking about long distance, the fare from Ranchi to Garhwa has been increased from ₹ 400 to ₹ 470, the fare from Ranchi to Palamu and Chaibasa has been increased from ₹ 350 to ₹ 415. At the same time, passengers going to Baba Nagri Deoghar and Dumka will now have to pay a strict fee of ₹ 650 instead of ₹ 550. Apart from this, the fare on interstate routes like Ranchi to Patna and Kolkata has also increased to ₹ 590.
