Heavy conflict in the Middle East: Iran’s missile attack on US bases in Kuwait and Bahrain; Sirens echo in Bahrain

The situation in West Asia (Middle East) is getting worse by the minute. Last night, Iran once again took a major military step and fired missiles at American military bases in Kuwait and Bahrain. After this horrific attack, the fear of a major and destructive war in the entire Gulf region has deepened. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has taken responsibility for this entire military action and called it a ‘befitting reply’ to America’s aggression.

In this latest attack, two major American air bases were mainly targeted. During the attack, several loud explosions were heard in the military areas of Kuwait, which frightened the people nearby. In the video going viral on social media, interceptor missiles are seen being released from the American Patriot Air Defense System (MIM-104 Patriot) and clouds of light are being formed in the sky. Air raid sirens were sounded in Bahrain overnight due to the direct threat of the missile, causing panic among local residents. Along with this, high military alert has also been issued in Erbil, Iraq.

This is the third major attack on American targets within a week.

‘The era of hit and run is gone’: Iran’s open warning

Iran’s military organization IRGC has issued a very strict and stringent official statement. He says that this missile attack is not a beginning, but some time ago Iran’s strategically important Qeshm Island But this is a direct revenge for the attacks carried out by the American army.

In a warning to Washington, the IRGC has said:

“Oppressive forces will face serious consequences for their audacity. The time of ‘hit and run’ is over forever. If anyone tries to touch our borders or sovereignty, we will respond with a devastating response that will exceed all established rules of war. We will reduce every American base in this entire region to ashes.”

America claims: All Iran’s missile attacks were complete failures

On the other hand, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) has completely rejected these claims and threats of Iran. The US Army says that the strong air defense system of its and allied countries has completely thwarted Iranian missiles and drones in time, due to which there was no major damage.

According to the official statement of CENTCOM, two Iranian missiles fired towards Kuwait fell en route due to technical failure or being intercepted in the air. At the same time, three other missiles sent towards Bahrain were accurately targeted and destroyed in the air by American and Bahraini security forces. The US Army claims that not a single missile of Iran could hit its intended target and all the soldiers are completely safe.

Main reason for the attack: America blowing up a ship going to Iran

Just a few hours before this heavy missile fire, a major incident took place at sea, which served as the spark in the gunpowder. The US military has been imposing a strict maritime blockade of Iran in the Gulf for some time. Under this blockade, the US Navy had signaled to stop ‘M/T Lexie’, a Botswana-flagged commercial oil tanker heading towards Iran’s Kharg Island.

When the ship completely ignored American warnings, an American fighter plane fired a dangerous Hellfire missile at it. In this attack, the entire engine room of the ship was blown away and it stopped paralyzed in the middle of the sea. According to US defense reports, so far 6 ships have been disabled under this blockade and the routes of more than 122 ships have been forcibly changed, due to which Iran is completely enraged.
