Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said that the Indian Navy not only fulfills the responsibility of protecting our maritime borders, but is also a unique symbol of disaster relief, humanitarian assistance, global peace and national pride. Our brave soldiers have time and again brought glory to India on the world stage with their indomitable courage, discipline and patriotism. This ‘Navy Shaurya Vatika’, built at a cost of more than ₹ 19 crore, will become a powerful medium to convey those glorious achievements to the people.
The biggest feature of Shaurya Vatika is the TU-142 aircraft installed here. This aircraft is a living symbol of the Indian Navy’s strategic capability, technical proficiency and the important role it plays in maritime security. Along with this, the display of various naval equipment, war material and modern technologies here will provide an opportunity to our young generation, students and tourists to closely understand the courage and functioning of the Indian Navy.
Shri Yogi Adityanath, Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Brajesh Pathak, Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh and senior officers of the Indian Navy, public representatives and respected citizens were present.
