India strongly criticizes China-Pakistan alliance, New Delhi bluntly responds to Beijing’s joint statement India strongly attacks China-Pakistan alliance, New Delhi bluntly responds to Beijing’s joint statement

The shenanigans of China and Pakistan have once again been exposed on the platform of global diplomacy. After the high-level meeting of Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing, both the countries have issued a joint statement. In this statement, once again challenging the sovereignty and integrity of India, unwanted comments have been made on the issue of Jammu and Kashmir. India has taken a strict stance on this provocative action by China and has instructed both the neighboring countries to stay within their limits.

Old tune on Kashmir from Beijing’s Great Hall of the People

During the visit of Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif to Beijing, China, as usual, has tried to air the Kashmir issue by supporting its all-weather friend. In the joint declaration issued after this high-level meeting held in the ‘Great Hall of the People’ in Beijing, both the countries cited the United Nations Charter and decades-old resolutions of the Security Council. The statement advocates a so-called peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute, which is a direct interference in India’s internal affairs.

Big conspiracy to encircle India through CPEC, direct threat to security

In this joint statement, not only Kashmir is mentioned, but a strategic attempt has also been made to provoke India regarding the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). It is noteworthy that the main route of CPEC, which is being built at a cost of billions of dollars, passes through Pakistan’s illegally occupied Kashmir (PoK) i.e. Gilgit-Baltistan, which is an integral and unbreakable part of India. India has been opposing this illegal construction from the beginning. Apart from this, under this project, China is developing Gwadar Port of Pakistan, which will provide permanent entry to the Chinese Navy in the Indian Ocean and Arabian Sea. This is a big and direct threat to the national security of India.

Jinping called Shahbaz an ‘old friend’, called the friendship unbreakable

According to Dawn report, Chinese President Xi Jinping termed his friendship with Pakistan as ‘unbreakable’ during his meeting with Shehbaz Sharif. Describing Shehbaz Sharif as his ‘old friend’, Jinping said that both the countries have supported each other even in adverse circumstances for decades. China also appreciated Pakistan’s efforts to establish peace in West Asia and play the role of mediator between America and Iran. At the same time, Shahbaz Sharif also expressed his gratitude to the Chinese leadership and vowed to take this friendship further.

India’s blunt answer: After Article 370, there is no scope for discussion now

Indian intelligence and diplomatic sources have given a very strong and befitting reply to this new maneuver of China and Pakistan. India has made it clear that China is deliberately ignoring the ground reality after the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir in the year 2019. A senior Indian source said bluntly, “Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh were, are and will always be integral parts of India. After the constitutional changes of 2019, there is no scope left for any kind of discussion or mediation on this issue with any external country, group or third party. China will have to learn to respect India’s sovereignty.”
