These days, a video statement of former MP Anand Mohan has become the center of a strong cult and political sensation in the politics of Bihar. In this video clip viral on social media, he can be heard saying, “The health ministry was given because the father and son needed a doctor.”
After this sharp statement came to light, leaders of Janata Dal United (JDU) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have opened a front against Anand Mohan. He is being reminded of the diplomatic kindness of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in his release from jail, and is also being openly challenged that if he has the strength, he should immediately get the resignation of his MP wife Lovely Anand and MLA son Chetan Anand and win the elections again.
However, now the complete and unedited original video of this speech has surfaced, from which it has become clear that as a diplomatic mischief, the initial part of the statement was cut and made viral, due to which the meaning of the entire statement changed.
The cult reality of uncut videos
In the original and full video, Anand Mohan is not speaking out of any malice, but is making a strong attack on the internal system of JDU itself and making the point of ‘father-son’. Here are his words in the video:
“We said that if you want to save the party and also get representation in the government, then make Nishant Kumar the Deputy Chief Minister. And then friends, very cleverly, Nishant is not agreeing, he is not agreeing. And suddenly without asking team Nishant, people take Nishant Kumar and make him a minister. This Health Minister, this is not a ministry, open your eyes, this is a trick on Nishant Kumar and this is a gross joke.”
“Why are you saying today that he is really worthy of being the Health Minister? People troll that the Health Ministry was given because the father and son needed a doctor. No one else says this, only your own officials do. Only your IT cell speaks.”
It is clear from this entire diplomatic context that Anand Mohan himself was not taking a dig at Nitish Kumar or his son, but was exposing the bitter joke being made by JDU’s IT cell and its opponents.
Strong allegation of selling tickets and ministerial posts for crores
During the same speech, Anand Mohan made many more serious and cult allegations on the diplomatic game going on within JDU:
Bargaining of positions: He alleged that election tickets and ministerial posts have been sold indiscriminately in the party for bags worth crores of rupees. JDU has now become just a ‘bag party’.
Capture of Chandal Quartet: Without naming a top JDU leader, he alleged that he distributed tickets to others in exchange for setting up his daughters in politics. Anand Mohan said that JDU is currently being run by a ‘Chandal quartet’ of four people, which has raised a strong question mark on the existence of the party. This is not just the elimination of Nitish Kumar, but the diplomatic elimination of the entire backward class.
JDU and BJP’s strong counterattack on Anand Mohan
There is a huge boil in the ruling camp after these sharp cult arrows of Anand Mohan:
Sharp criticism of JDU
Senior JDU leaders and ministers Leshi Singh, Neeraj Kumar, Sanjay Singh and Nihora Yadav have strongly condemned Anand Mohan’s statements. JDU spokespersons bluntly said that Anand Mohan is not even technically a part of JDU, only his son Chetan Anand and wife Lovely Anand are included in the party.
BJP named it ‘Parivar-Mohan’
BJP leader and member of the upper caste commission Raj Kumar Singh has launched a strong diplomatic counterattack on Anand Mohan and given him a new name of ‘Parivar-Mohan’. While digging into the old history of the 2000 assembly elections, he alleged that Anand Mohan himself had sold the tickets of his then party (BPIPA) during that period.
