In the afternoon, near Chintpurni on Una-Dharamshala highway, a speeding car went out of control and fell into a deep ditch. The accident was so severe that the car caught fire as soon as it fell and the two people in it did not even get a chance to recover.
How did this accident happen?
According to police and eyewitnesses, this incident happened around 3:30 pm. A CCTV footage of the accident has also surfaced, which is really scary. It is seen in the video that a black colored car was going towards Una at a very high speed. The surprising thing is that even before the turn, flames were visible coming out from the lower part of the car. As soon as the car reached the turn, the driver lost control and the vehicle fell straight into a ditch near an under-construction building on the roadside.
Did tire burst become the cause of death?
In the initial investigation, the police suspect that the tire of the car might have burst while moving. The spark due to friction caught fire and the vehicle went out of control. As soon as it fell into the ditch, the fire took a huge form, due to which the car was completely burnt to ashes. Police said that both the persons traveling in the car died on the spot. The fire was so terrible that it has become difficult to even identify a dead body.
The car was from Punjab
Investigation revealed that the accident car was registered in Ludhiana district of Punjab. Police are now trying to contact the family members on the basis of the car number. At present the bodies have been sent for post-mortem and the matter is being investigated closely.
