New Delhi: ONGC Foundation has brought a wonderful opportunity for promising students dreaming of higher education. Under ‘ONGC Merit Scholarship Scheme 2025-26’, 2,000 meritorious students pursuing engineering, medical and master’s degrees will be awarded annually. ₹48,000 Financial assistance is being provided. Students of which courses will get benefit?

This scholarship is available only for selected professional courses. 1st Year For students studying in:

Engineering (BE/B.Tech)

MBBS

MBA

Master’s Degree in Geology/Geophysics (M.Sc/M.Tech)

Category wise scholarship distribution and quota

50% out of total 2,000 seats i.e. 1,000 seats Girls Are reserved for. The distribution based on categories is as follows:

SC/ST Students: 1,000 scholarships

OBC Students: 500 scholarships

General (EWS) Students: 500 scholarships

Eligibility Criteria

Before applying, please check your eligibility:

score: At least in previous class (12th or graduation) 60% marks OR 6.0 CGPA is mandatory.

Age Limit: Applicant age as on 1st August 2025 30 years Should not exceed.

Family Income Limit:

For SC/ST: Annual Income ₹4.5 lakh fewer.

For OBC/General-EWS: Annual Income ₹2 lakh fewer.

Citizenship: The applicant must be a citizen of India.

The application process is online and you can National Scholarship Portal (NSP) Or ONGC Foundation Can complete through the official website of:

Registration on NSP: First of all, visit scholarships.gov.in and complete ‘One-Time Registration’ (OTR) and get your OTR number.

official website: After this go to ongcscholar.org and click on ‘Apply Now’.

Fill details: Select your category (SC/ST, OBC, General-EWS) and fill personal, educational and bank details carefully.

Upload Documents: Scan and upload the necessary documents like mark sheet, income certificate, caste certificate and admission proof.

Submit and Print: After submitting the form, take a printout of the receipt. In some cases, hard copy may have to be sent to ONGC office.
