The main focus of the government is not only on traditional education but Skill Development And Startup Ecosystem The aim is to strengthen it, so that the youth of the state can become self-reliant.
Under this scheme the Chief Minister ‘CM Dashboard 2.0’ (CM Dashboard 2.0) and many new schemes have been launched, which will make real-time monitoring of government schemes possible.
Key Schemes for Youth and Startups (2026)
The Chief Minister has made several big promises and policies for the youth during the budget session and in the recent review meetings:
Mukhyamantri Sarathi Yojana (MMSY): Under this, free skill training is being given to the youth. If employment is not available even after 3 months of training, the boys ₹1,000 And girls/disabled/transgender ₹1,500 ‘Employment Incentive Allowance’ is being given per month.
Guruji Student Credit Card: Students for higher education and technical education ₹15 lakh Loan up to Rs. 10,000 is being made available at very nominal interest rates.
Maiyya Udyam Yojana: On starting micro enterprises to connect women with entrepreneurship ₹5 crore There is a plan to give capital incentive of Rs.
Startups and MSMEs: The government has considered small industries as ‘engines of development’. For this, preparations are being made to create a new industrial parks policy and transport-logistics hub, so that local startups can get infrastructure.
Digital Monitoring: CM Dashboard 2.0
To bring transparency and speed up the government schemes Integrated-CM Data Intelligence Platform (Dashboard 2.0) has been implemented.
Objective: To keep a direct eye on the progress of Skill Development Mission and other self-employment schemes.
Benefit: This will eliminate the role of middlemen and the benefits will reach the youth directly.
Global Opportunities: Knowledge Corridors and Scholarships
Marang Gomke Overseas Scholarship: Expanding its scope, now 50 youth from underprivileged communities are being given full scholarships for master’s degree in 30 institutions of Britain.
Knowledge Corridor: Jharkhand government is developing a ‘Knowledge Corridor’ in collaboration with Britain, which will provide global level training to the technical students of the state.
MoU with Industries (MOU)
Jharkhand government recently participated in the World Economic Forum (WEF) and other forums. Infosys, Lulu Group and Azim Premji Foundation Have discussed with institutions like. Their aim is to create ‘centres of excellence’ in the state, where youth can be trained in futuristic areas like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and clean energy.
