1. Unauthorized Building Regularization: Main Terms and Conditions
According to Cabinet Secretary Vandana Dadel, the 2019 rules have been amended to make them more practical:
Eligibility: Only 10 meter height up to G+2 (G-Plus Two) Only buildings can be regularized.
Area limit: Maximum built up area of building 300 square meters Should be till.
Regularization Fee: * Residential Building: A sum of ₹10,000.
Commercial Building: A sum of ₹20,000.
Relief in penalty: Payment of penalty three installments Facility to do so has been provided.
Time Limit: after the notification was issued within 60 days It will be mandatory to apply online.
2. Organization of Robotics Festival and Science Quiz
To encourage technological development and students of the state, the government has announced competitions with big prizes:
Robotics Festival: The winners who made robots in this 5 lakh (1st)Rs 3 lakh (second) and Rs 2 lakh (third) will be awarded.
Science Quiz: The competition will be held in three phases for school (8th-12th), ITI and polytechnic students.
reward: First prize ₹50,000, second ₹30,000 and third ₹20,000.
3. Change in mining rules: Sand and stone lease now for 10 years
To increase revenue and make the process transparent Jharkhand Minor Mineral Concession (Amendment) Rules, 2026 Has been approved:
E-Auction: Now the allocation of mines will be done only through e-auction.
lease term: * Sand and Stone: 10 years.
Granite and other minerals: 30 years.
Time bound process: LOI will have to be given within 120 days of application and CTO (Consent to Operate) within 30 days of environmental clearance.
Other important decisions of the Cabinet:
53 proposals approved: A total of 53 important development schemes were agreed upon in the meeting.
Treasury check: Orders inquiry into all major withdrawals from the treasury since the formation of the state.
Medical College: Speed up establishment of new medical colleges in Dhanbad, Giridih, Jamtara and Khunti.
Caution: If your building is unauthorized, complete the application process within 60 days as soon as the notification is issued, otherwise punitive action may be taken against the building by the concerned authority.
