The district administration has prepared a plan to conduct the Lok Sabha elections in the district in a fair, free and fearless manner. District Election Officer Arvind Singh has entrusted the responsibility of monitoring the sensitive and hypersensitive booths to Additional District Magistrate Justice Pramod Kumar and EDM Collectorate Prateek Naresh.
The District Election Officer said that as per the instructions of the Election Commission, sensitive and highly sensitive booths will be monitored using IP cameras using technology, in which 455 hypersensitive and 227 sensitive booths and 208 hypersensitive and 117 sensitive polling stations will be monitored through live webcasting. For this, a control room will be set up in all the Legislative Assemblies including the district headquarters, through which moment-to-moment updates of the voting work will be taken. If any problem arises at any booth, the Sector Magistrate and Zonal Magistrate will immediately reach the spot and solve the problem and arrangements are being made for uninterrupted continuous monitoring of the Legislative Assembly through TV in the control room established in the District Magistrate's office. Representatives of the departments required for webcasting operation will also be present in the control room, so that if any problem arises, it can be resolved immediately. Told that Election Commission officials will also be able to watch live webcasting of the booths. With the help of IP cameras, not only webcasting will be done, but the recording of voting proceedings will also be made safe with complete transparency.
