Bulandshahr: A major success has been achieved in the construction of Jewar Link Airport Expressway connecting Noida International Airport (Jewar) with Ganga Expressway. From Thursday, the process of registration of land by farmers in favor of UPEIDA has officially started in the district.

The first registration for this important project was done by a woman farmer from Khurja tehsil, for whom the administrative officials expressed gratitude.

Expressway network in Bulandshahr

Total length of Jewar Link Expressway in Bulandshahr district 54 kilometers Is. To complete this project on time, 5 tehsils of the district 39 villages of land is being acquired.

Total land: 654.91 hectares.

Tehsil wise details of villages:

Bulandshahr Tehsil: 17 villages.

Sayana Tehsil: 08 villages.

Khurja Tehsil: 07 Village.

Shikarpur Tehsil: 05 villages.

Secunderabad Tehsil: 02 villages.

Emphasis on transparency and prompt payment

District Magistrate (DM) Shruti has given strict instructions to keep the registry process transparent and smooth.

Money directly into accounts: The DM has asked the officials to ensure that the compensation amount is immediately transferred to the bank accounts of the farmers as soon as the deed of sale is done.

Facilitation Centre: Special arrangements have been made in the tehsils to help the farmers so that they do not face any inconvenience in paperwork.

Farmers’ enthusiasm and regional development

The farmers who signed the memorandum have described it as an important contribution to the development of the area. Farmers believe that the construction of this expressway will not only improve connectivity but will also create new employment opportunities for the coming generations.

Industrial corridor will also be constructed

along this expressway 15 villages A large industrial corridor is also proposed to be developed on the land. This has increased the possibilities of Bulandshahr and surrounding areas becoming logistics and manufacturing hubs.
