Nitish Kumar’s resignation and path to Rajya Sabha

There is intense talk in political circles that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will take oath as Rajya Sabha member on April 10. Before going to Delhi, he can hold his last cabinet meeting in Patna on April 8. After this he will leave for Delhi and after taking oath he will return and submit his resignation to the Governor. This step of Nitish Kumar is a clear indication of a new coalition form and change in the center of power in Bihar. The outline of transfer of power between JDU and BJP has almost been prepared.

These names are at the forefront in the race, ‘Surprise’ card is also ready

There is a churning process going on in the BJP camp regarding the new Chief Minister. The names of Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary and Union Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai are leading in the race. While Samrat Choudhary is known for his aggressive attitude and hold on the OBC vote bank, Nityanand Rai is considered highly trusted by the central leadership. Apart from these, names of Vijay Kumar Sinha and Dilip Jaiswal are also being discussed. However, BJP has often been surprising with its decisions, hence the name of any ‘dark horse’ (shocking face) cannot be ruled out.

Bihar’s new ‘political line’ will be drawn in Delhi meeting

Nitish Kumar himself can be present in the meeting on April 10 along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and JP Nadda. In this meeting, not only will the name of the Chief Minister be decided, but the form of the new cabinet and future partnership with JDU will also be discussed in detail. It is believed that the swearing-in ceremony of the new government can be organized in Bihar after April 14. At present, political activity is intense from Patna to Delhi and everyone is waiting for the decision on April 10.
