Fast date: Since Lord Krishna was born at midnight, 9 April 2026, Thursday Monthly Krishna Janmashtami fast will be observed and puja will be performed at midnight.

There is a special tradition of night puja on monthly Janmashtami. The best time for puja in April will be:
Nishita Kaal Puja Muhurat: From 12:00 am to 12:45 am (midnight of April 10).
