Flying future of UP: CM Yogi told how Jewar Airport will become the launchpad of UP

News India Live, Digital Desk: Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath Has described Noida International Airport (Jewar) as the biggest ‘milestone’ of the state’s progress. CM Yogi, who is on NCR tour, while referring to the development model of the ‘double engine’ government, said that Jewar Airport will prove to be not just an airport but a ‘launchpad’ for global trade and prosperity of Uttar Pradesh. He clarified that this project will boost the economy of the state in the coming times. 1 trillion dollars Will act as the backbone in making it.

Prosperity through connectivity: The Chief Minister said that before 2017, UP had only 2 active airports, whereas today 9 are operational and work on many others including Jewar is going on war footing. Jewar Airport will connect not only Delhi-NCR but every district of Western Uttar Pradesh with global connectivity.

Mahakumbh of employment: Referring to the Industrial Corridor, Film City and Medical Device Park of ‘Yamuna Authority’ being developed around the airport, the CM said that lakhs of youth will get employment opportunities here. Because of jewellery, today big companies from all over the world are queuing up to invest in UP.

Asia’s largest hub: CM Yogi said that Jewar Airport will be the most modern airport in Asia in terms of its capacity and technology. It will become a big hub not only for passengers but also for ‘cargo’, so that the products of farmers and entrepreneurs will be able to reach foreign countries easily.

Targeted at the opposition: “Earlier governments lacked willpower”

Without naming the opposition, the Chief Minister said that the Jewar Airport project was buried in the files for decades. Previous governments did not have the intention of development, but under the guidance of Prime Minister Modi, the ‘double engine’ government has brought it to fruition. He also assured that the airport work will be completed by the end of this year and the first flight will take off from the runway soon.
