The holy festival of Chaitra Navratri is at its last stage. Mahanavami is being celebrated today on 27 March 2026. This day is dedicated to Mother Siddhidatri, the ninth form of Shakti. According to religious beliefs, Mother Siddhidatri is the goddess who bestows all accomplishments. Sadhana done on this day not only gives spiritual peace but also opens doors to success in every area of life. On the same day, the birth anniversary of Lord Ram i.e. Ram Navami is also being celebrated, due to which the importance of this day has increased manifold.
Divine nature and importance of Mother Siddhidatri
Mother Siddhidatri sits on a golden lotus flower. They have four arms, in which they Mace, Chakra, Conch and Lotus Wears. Mother’s vehicle is a lion and her face is very gentle and divine. According to mythology, Lord Shiva, after doing penance on these eight siddhis received, after which half of her body became that of a goddess and she ‘Ardhanarishwar’ Called.
