1. Sankatmochan Hanuman: Still present in Chiranjeevi form
Lord Hanuman is considered to be the most awakened and influential deity of Kaliyuga. Bajrangbali, the giver of eight achievements and nine treasures, is blessed with immortality. It is said that wherever Ram Katha is sung, Hanuman ji remains present in some form or the other in an invisible form. Devotees have an unwavering belief that by reciting ‘Hanuman Chalisa’, ghosts and mental troubles go away immediately. He is called the ‘present Nazir’ deity of Kaliyuga.
2. Baba Khatu Shyam: ‘Support of the defeated’ and Krishna of Kalyug
Lord Shri Krishna himself had given a boon to Baba Khatu Shyam, who is present in Sikar district of Rajasthan, that in Kalyug he would be worshiped by his name ‘Shyam’. This great warrior, who donated his head in the form of Barbarika, is considered the ‘incarnation of Kaliyuga’. It is believed that the person who comes to his door after being defeated by the world, Baba holds his hand. Today lakhs of devotees from all over the country and the world come to have darshan of ‘Sheesh Ke Daani’.
3. Kaal Bhairav: Kotwal of Kalyug and God of Justice
The fierce form of Lord Shiva ‘Kaal Bhairav’ is called the ruler of Kaliyuga or ‘Kotwal of Kashi’. He has special glory in Tantra Sadhana, but he is extremely kind to ordinary devotees also. It is believed that the devotee who takes refuge in Kaal Bhairav does not face the fear of untimely death and Kaal Sarp Dosh. Their worship destroys enemies and brings discipline and fearlessness in a person’s life.
4. Maa Kali: Destroyer of evil and loving power
The worship of Shakti has special significance in Kaliyuga and Mother Kali is considered to be the most awakened goddess of this period. 5. Surya Dev: The only directly visible god
Sun God, included among the Panchadevas, is the only God whom we can see with our own eyes. It is impossible to imagine creation without them. In astrology, Sun is considered the factor of ‘soul’. In Kaliyuga, worshiping the Sun is the easiest way to attain health and respect. Just by offering water every morning, darkness from a person’s life goes away and he gets brightness and strength.
