Today, inauguration of Mahila Shakti logo under the aegis of State Rural Livelihood Mission at Hotel Hayat, Gomti Nagar and inauguration of Mahila Shakti Kendra in 100 districts, release of book (Gender Equality and Empowerment through Mahila Shakti Kendra and TRI’s Mahila Shakti Kendra book) and signed MOU with NGO’s and participated in state level workshop.
Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya ji said that the Uttar Pradesh government considers women as ‘half the population’ and is committed to giving them full rights. Officials should monitor the MOU, when and how the work is being done, and procure materials for government offices, hospitals and schools/colleges through self-help groups. 1 crore Didi was made and it has to be increased to 3 crore Didi. 30 lakh lakhpati didis have been made, they have to be made 1 crore didis. The law and order situation of the double engine government is being discussed not only in every state of the country but also in foreign countries.
