Gold became costlier in Delhi for the second consecutive day

Talking about the bullion market of the capital Delhi, on Wednesday (11 March 2026), an increase of ₹ 10 per 10 grams was recorded in the price of 24 carat and 22 carat gold. If we look at the data of the last two days, 24 carat gold has become costlier by ₹ 710 and 22 carat gold by ₹ 660. Global instability caused by the war is directly supporting the prices of the yellow metal, forcing customers to make expensive purchases even during the wedding season.

Silver makes historic jump, crosses Rs 3 lakh in Chennai

Even more shocking rise than gold is being seen in silver. After a slight decline of one day, there has been a historic jump of ₹ 10,100 per kg in silver prices within the last two days. Today, the price of silver in Delhi increased by ₹ 100 more, after which the price of 1 kg silver here has reached the level of ₹ 2,90,100. Silver is being sold at this price in Mumbai and Kolkata also. But the biggest record has been made in Chennai, where silver has crossed the magical figure of ₹3 lakh and today’s price has been recorded at ₹3,00,100 per kg.
