Iran has suffered another blow after Israel carried out an airstrike on the Iranian Consulate in Syria, killing a top Iranian military commander.
Jaish al-Adl, a Sunni Baloch insurgent group in Iran, on Wednesday attacked army posts in Chabahar, Rast and Sarbaz on the Iranian border. In which 10 people including three Iranian soldiers have died. Majid Mirhamadi, deputy minister of Iran's Interior Ministry, said the headquarters of Iran's Law Ministry in Chabahar and the Revolutionary Guards base in Rusk region were targeted. Both these areas are located on the border of the troubled Sistan and Baluchistan provinces.
He further said that the terrorists did not succeed in entering the Revolutionary Guards base as the security forces responded to the terrorist attack with alertness. A terrorist has also been killed in this attack. Encounter with terrorists continues. In Chabahar also, a terrorist has been killed in a retaliatory attack by security forces.
On the other hand, Iran's government media has claimed that a police station in Chabahar was targeted and a top police officer was also killed.
Jaish al-Adal organization is becoming a headache for Iran. This organization has already targeted Iran's security forces. Troubled by attacks by the same group, Iran retaliated with missiles at the group's bases in Pakistan in January, escalating tensions between Pakistan and Iran.
Now that Jaish al-Adl has carried out terrorist attacks at three places in Iran simultaneously, there are rumors that Iran will again take military action against Pakistan. Iran has declared Jaish al-Adl a terrorist organization. America also included it in the list of terrorist organizations in 2010.
Iran is also alleging that this terrorist organization is getting help from America, Saudi Arabia and Israel.
