Abu Dhabi's Hindu temple made a record, 3.50 lakh devotees came in the first month


The Hindu temple built in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates has created a new record in the first month itself. According to the information given by the temple, more than three and a half lakh devotees have visited this temple in a single month after it was opened for the public.

Prime Minister Modi had inaugurated this temple in the month of February. After this, on March 1, this temple was opened for the devotees to visit. According to the information given by the temple spokesperson to the Indian news agency, around 3.50 lakh devotees have got the benefit of darshan in the first month and 50000 people have come for darshan every Saturday and Sunday. The temple is closed for devotees on every Monday and this means that earlier the temple was open for 27 days in the month except Mondays. Ganga Aarti is performed every evening at 7:30 pm from Tuesday to Sunday on the banks of Swaminarayan Ghat of the temple and thousands of devotees take advantage of it.

This temple built in Abu Dhabi has been built by BAPS Swaminarayan Institute on 27 acres at a cost of Rs 700 crore. For this, 18 lakh bricks and 1.8 lakh cubic meters of sand type stone procured from Rajasthan have been used.
