Utility Desk, New Delhi. Rising electricity bills and power cuts in the scorching summers have forced people to turn to solar energy. 3kW solar system is proving to be a great investment for middle class families. TATA’s 3kW solar system is currently in highest demand due to its trusted brand value and excellent performance. Let us understand in simple language how beneficial this system is for your home, what is its price and how will you get the benefit of government subsidy.

On-Grid Solar System: How much electricity will this Tata plant generate daily?

First of all, it is important to know how much of the needs of your home a 3kW solar system can fulfill. Depending on the geographical location of India, 1kW solar produces 4 to 5 units of electricity daily. Accordingly, TATA’s 3kW system can generate 12 to 15 units of electricity per day.

This system of Tata works on On-Grid technology. This means that your system will be directly connected to the government power grid. The excess electricity generated from solar during the day will go to the grid, which is accounted for through ‘net metering’. There is no need of battery in it, due to which the maintenance cost is also negligible.

How many ACs can run from a 3kW solar system? See full chart

Often people have a question in their mind whether the AC will be able to run on a 3kW system? The answer is ‘yes’. From the table given below you can understand how much load you can put on it:

AC type How many ACs can run? Other devices that will go with it
1 Ton AC 2 ac 4-5 LED bulbs, 2 fans, TV and fridge
1.5 Ton AC 1 AC Cooler, 3 Fans, LED Lights and TV

Note: For better performance, it is suggested that if you have a 1.5 ton AC, run only one AC so that there is not too much pressure on the system.
