Trump’s big wish: I made India-Pak agreement, so why haven’t I got Nobel till now?

This time he has raised an issue which is directly related to us, i.e. India and the neighboring country Pakistan. Trump has once again recalled the old days and claimed that it was only because of his intervention that the ‘Ceasefire’ agreement for the year 2021 was reached between India and Pakistan. And the interesting thing is that for this ‘brilliant’ work they are now praising themselves. Nobel Peace Prize Are being declared entitled.

Did Trump really do everything?
If you look at it, Trump has his own unique style. He sees himself as a ‘deal maker’ who can resolve major disputes. According to him, when the situation between India and Pakistan was very bad and there was shelling on the border, it was he who tried to bring the two countries to the table. Trump says that if he had not intervened, the matter could have escalated to nuclear war.

But there is a big catch here. India has always been saying that whatever issue we have with Pakistan, it is ‘bilateral’ i.e. between us and them, in which we do not accept the interference of any third country (even if it is America).

Trump often mentions in his rallies that his opponents or former presidents got the Nobel easily, but despite their ‘great’ work, they were ignored. He also seems a bit upset that the world did not appreciate his ‘peace making’ skills as much as they should have. This latest statement of his expresses this desire of his.

Election and credit politics
Nowadays, elections are going on in America, in such a situation, Trump wants to present himself as the most powerful and intelligent leader of the world. Taking credit on a sensitive issue like India-Pakistan could be a part of his election strategy. They know that whatever is said on this issue will be discussed all over the world.

Now the question is, is anyone sitting in Washington or Stockholm (where the Nobel is given) taking these words of Trump seriously? Or is this just another election slogan of Trump? Whatever may be the case, Trump has once again tried to steal the gathering.
