News India Live, Digital Desk: Do you also feel lazy in winter? Or do you feel slight pain in the waist and stiffness in the knees as soon as you wake up in the morning? If yes, then believe me your body needs some ‘warmth’ and ‘strength’ from inside. Today I am going to share with you a recipe which is very simple in appearance but has no comparison in its qualities.
I am talking Halim/Aliv Ladoo of.
Some people call it Haleem, some ‘Asliya’ seeds, while in Maharashtra it is called ‘Aliv’. These small red grains are a treasure trove of iron, calcium and folic acid. Especially for women and aging people, this is no less than a boon.
Come, let’s see how it can be made very easily at home.
Ingredients you need
Don’t bring anything more from the market. You need:
- Haleem seeds (a small bowl),
- fresh coconut (grated),
- Jaggery (for sweetness),
- Desi ghee and some of your favorite dry fruits (almonds-cashews).
easy way to make
- Most important step: Wash the halim seeds and soak them in coconut water (or plain water) for 1-2 hours. These seeds will swell after drinking water and become sticky like jelly. This is their real quality.
- Start cooking: Heat some desi ghee in a pan. Now add the puffed halim seeds and grated coconut into it. Fry them together.
- Sweetness of Jaggery: Now add finely ground jaggery in it. As the jaggery melts, the mixture will become slightly wet. We have to cook it until it becomes thick and becomes suitable for tying laddus.
- Flavor Tadka: Finally add nutmeg powder or cardamom powder. If you wish, you can also add chopped almonds.
- Tie the laddu: When the mixture remains lukewarm, apply some ghee on your hands and make small laddus.
When and how to eat?
Friends, remember that Haleem is hot in nature. Therefore do not eat too much of it. Just one laddu with milk every morning That’s enough.
It not only fulfills the lack of blood in the body, but if your hair is falling or your face has lost its glow, it does a wonderful job in bringing it back. This laddu is considered the best food for recovery for new mothers after delivery.
