Former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh has retired after serving as a member of the Rajya Sabha for 33 years. With this, the tenure of 54 members of Rajya Sabha has ended. 49 members retired from Rajya Sabha on Tuesday and five members retired on Wednesday. A total of 54 Rajya Sabha MPs have retired. Some of these members are contesting the Lok Sabha elections, while some members may return to the Rajya Sabha. Dr. Manmohan Singh has taken many important decisions for the country. He reached Rajya Sabha in 1991. He is P.V. He held the post of Finance Minister in the government of Narasimha Rao. After this he held the post of Prime Minister from 2004 to 2014. At present his age is 91 years. SP's Jaya Bachchan is also included among the retired members.
