Mumbai: Raashi Khanna has cited OTT release as an excuse for the flop of her and Siddharth Malhotra's film 'Yodha'. According to Rashi, all the viewers knew that the film was going to be released on OTT soon. That's why it was not seen in any theatre.
This statement of Rashi was heavily criticized by net users. People said that now every film comes on OTT mostly after two months. Still people go to theater to watch a good movie. For this, people gave examples of many films including Ajay Devgan's 'Shaitan'. Actually, Karan Johar's 'Yodha' film was ready for a long time. But, due to not getting a convenient release date, its release kept getting delayed. By repeatedly changing the release date, it was decided that even producer Karan Johar himself was not very confident about the film.
Siddharth Malhotra wanted to emerge as an action hero from this film but his wish could not be fulfilled.
According to Rashi Khanna's claim, her acting is being praised a lot and people are still congratulating her.
