- For a 36-page passport with a validity of 10 years, a fee of Rs 1500 has to be paid, while for Tatkal, the fee is Rs 2000.
- A fee of Rs 2000 is charged for a 60-page passport with a validity of 10 years, while a fee of Rs 2000 has to be paid for Tatkal.
- For children below 18 years of age, the fee for a 36-page passport with 5 years validity is Rs 1000, while for Tatkal, you will have to pay Rs 2000.
- For children below 18 years of age, a fee of Rs 1500 will have to be paid for a 36-page passport with 10 years validity, while for Tatkal, Rs 2000 will have to be paid.
How to renew passport online
Phase 1: Go to Passport Seva website.
Phase 2: If registration is complete, login with your ID.
step 3: Access the portal with login credentials.
step 4: After this tap on the option 'Apply for New Passport/Apply for Re-issue of Passport'.
Step 5: After this, click on the option that all the required documents are correct.
Step 6: Then choose payment and schedule option.
Step 7: After this complete the payment.
