Usually, when we hear the name of pasta or spaghetti, heavy cream or cheese sauce comes to our mind, but if we mix it with the heroes of our Indian kitchen ‘spinach’ and ‘mushroom’, it not only enhances the taste but also makes it quite healthy.

The combination of mushroom and spinach is very old and superhit. If you are looking for a way to feed green vegetables to your children, then this ‘Mushroom Spinach Spaghetti’ can prove to be a perfect recipe for you. Let us know the very simple way to make it.

Ingredients:
You don’t need very special things to make it. Pick up a few things from your kitchen:

  • Spaghetti (one packet)
  • fresh spinach (finely chopped)
  • Button Mushrooms (sliced)
  • Finely chopped garlic (this is the essence of this dish)
  • A little butter or olive oil
  • Pepper, Salt and Chili Flakes

Very easy method of making (Process):

  1. Boil Spaghetti: First of all, heat water in a large vessel, add some salt to it and boil the spaghetti as per instructions. Keep in mind, do not melt it too much, keep it slightly hard (al dente). While draining the spaghetti, save a cup of water, it is very useful later.
  2. Fry the Mushrooms: Heat butter in a kadhai or pan. Add lots of chopped garlic and when the aroma starts coming out, add the mushrooms. Fry the mushrooms until they turn light golden brown.
  3. Spinach Tadka: As soon as the mushrooms are roasted, add finely chopped spinach to it. Just stir the spinach for 1-2 minutes so that it softens but still retains its green color.
  4. Spices and Mixing: Now add salt as per taste, crushed black pepper and some chilli flakes. Now put the boiled spaghetti in the pan.
  5. Secret Tip: Add the one cup of water we had saved little by little. Due to this, the flavor of mushroom and spinach gets coated well in the spaghetti and a natural sauce is formed.
  6. Serve: If you want, you can sprinkle a little grated cheese on top, otherwise it looks amazing even without cheese.
