Winter School Holiday: Bone-chilling cold and dense fog have made life difficult throughout Uttar Pradesh. The situation is getting so bad in the morning that it is becoming difficult to see even a few meters away on the roads. In view of this dangerous weather, the Yogi government has decided to close schools up to class 10, giving relief to the children.

3 day ‘mini winter vacation’!

The Education Department has issued a new order on Saturday, according to which children in most of the schools of the state are going to get three consecutive days of leave. Understand accounting:

  • December 27: Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti holiday is already fixed.
  • 28 December: The government has declared a holiday due to increasing cold.
  • 29th December: It is Sunday, so there will be holiday.

That means the lottery for children has started!

What is the condition of schools in your city?

Lucknow: In view of the increasing cold here, schools for small children (pre-primary and nursery) were already closed till December 27. The timings of schools from classes 1 to 8 have also been changed from 10 am to 3 pm.

Rae Bareli: Here too there were holidays till 26th December, which have now extended till Monday.

Maharajganj, Sitapur, Hardoi, Varanasi: In these districts too, schools up to 8th have been closed till 28th December.

Shahjahanpur: Here, schools for small children (pre-primary) have been completely closed, while schools for other classes will open from 10 am.

Why was this decision taken?

This decision has been taken not only because of the cold but also because of the dense fog. Visibility is very low in the morning, due to which children face danger while traveling to school. Efforts are being made to protect children from this deadly cold and fog by changing school timings or closing holidays.

Double attack in Delhi-NCR!

Not only UP, the condition of Delhi-NCR is even worse. Along with deadly cold, poisonous pollution is also affecting us here. The air in 17 areas of Delhi has become so poisonous that it has been considered ‘dangerous’. The Meteorological Department has also warned of further increase in cold in the coming days.
