Ballia, 02 April (Hindus). The district administration has put in all its strength to increase the voting percentage in the Lok Sabha elections. Regular sweep is being done for this. The Sweep Committee meeting was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of District School Inspector Ramesh Singh, the nodal officer of the Sweep.
In the meeting held in the presence of principals of various colleges, it was decided that publicity will be done through various mediums to create awareness about increasing the voting percentage in the district. Under this, voter awareness rally, street play, poster competition in schools, rangoli competition and speech competition will be organized in all the seventeen blocks and tehsils of the district. It has already started. In the next series, programs will be organized in the city till April 6 and April 10.
In the meeting, Basic Education Officer Manish Kumar Singh, Shaheed Mangal Pandey Government Degree College Principal Rajeshwar Kumar, Satish Chandra College Principal Baikunth Narayan Pandey, Town PG College Professor Anil Kumar Tiwari, Om Prakash Yadav, Prafulla Srivastava, Rakesh Pandey, Pramod Srivastava, Dr. Iftekhar Khan, theater artist Ashish Trivedi, Anand Prakash Mishra etc. were present.
