Varanasi, 02 April (HS). Sikkim Governor Laxman Acharya said that Indian education, culture and language are excellent in the world. Indian history is glorious. Governor Laxman Acharya said these things while addressing the prize distribution and talent award ceremony of Culture and General Knowledge Competition-2023 organized by Keshav Children's Library at Nivedita Shiksha Sadan in Mahmoorganj on Tuesday. While distributing awards among the children in the ceremony, the Governor said that it is necessary to sow the seeds of Indian values ​​among the children. The concept of Ramrajya will be realized only by discharging our responsibilities.

The special guest at the function was Prof. Vice Chancellor of Sampurnanand Sanskrit University. Bihari Lal Sharma said that in the modern era there is a need to connect children with Indian cultural tradition. The youth of India are the bearers of Indian culture. Students should emulate Indian culture in their lives. One should try to live Indian tradition.

The Vice Chancellor said that one should not be disappointed if one fails in the competition. Defeat should be accepted with a big heart. Program coordinator Charuchandra Ram Tripathi declared the result at the function. He informed that 9645 candidates from 125 schools took part in the competition organized by the library. Among these, Akanksha Pandey stood first and Avinash Pandey stood second in the children's category. Roshni Yadav secured first position in the children's category. Pranjal Singh was second. Krishna Baranwal stood first in the youth category.

The program was conducted by Library Chairman Dr. Harendra Rai and vote of thanks was given by Dr. Anand Prabha Singh. Jaiprakash, Surendra Singh, Prithvi Nath Pancholi, Dr. Chandramani Singh, Dr. Pratibha Yadav, Sanjeev Singh Billu, Avadhendra Singh etc. were present in the program.
