Farmers Movement-2: Toll plazas will remain free in Punjab today, internet closed in Haryana till February 19

There will be a meeting between the Center and farmers in Chandigarh in the evening. This will be the fourth round of talks. The first 3 meetings were requested. Everyone's eyes are on the outcome of the meeting. If no decision is taken in this meeting, the farmers have announced to leave Delhi.

Bharatiya Kisan Union (Chadhuni Group) in Haryana has called a Kisan-Khap Panchayat in Kurukshetra in the afternoon. An announcement will be made to start the movement in Haryana. Internet will remain closed in 7 districts till 12 midnight on 19th February. These districts include Ambala, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Jind, Hisar, Fatiabad and Sirsa.

At the same time, all tolls will be free in Punjab today. Farmers associated with Bharatiya Kisan Union Collectors are sitting on strike. They have also staged a dharna at the houses of Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar, former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and Kewal Dhillon.

BKU Sangh in Punjab claims that toll has been made free at 21 places in 13 districts of the state in support of farmers. Union General Secretary Sukhdev Singh Kokri Kalan said that toll transmission has been stopped for 2 days so far. The decision to carry forward the protest will be taken after the meeting of the members of the United Kisan Morcha on Sunday.

Farmers' organization BKU Ugrahan has not received an invitation to participate in the talks with the Centre. The organization's general secretary Sukhdev Kokrikalan said that he has not received any message regarding Sunday's talks. However, they will continue to support the movement. Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher said that today is our sixth day at Shambhu border. Today we will talk to the government. The government has asked for some time and said that they will discuss the matter. Talk to Union Ministers and find a solution.
