Al Jazeera banned in Israel: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced a ban on news channel Al Jazeera in Israel with immediate effect. For this, a resolution was approved in the Israeli Parliament and after that Netanyahu decided to close Al Jazeera channel by calling it a terrorist channel. As soon as the approval of the Parliament is received, the way has been cleared for the government to stop broadcasting this channel.
Netanyahu accused the Al Jazeera channel of undermining Israel's security, supporting the October 7 terrorist attack by Hamas, and inciting violence against Israel. He also said on social media that now the time has come to expel Hamas drivers from Israel. From now on, terrorist channel Al Jazeera will not be broadcast in Israel. I will take immediate action for this.
