Paush Putrada Ekadashi 2025: Date and auspicious time

• Ekadashi date: Saturday, January 11, 2025
• Ekadashi Tithi Start: From 07:11 pm on January 10, 2025
• Ekadashi date ends: By 05:32 pm on January 11, 2025
• Parana (breaking of fast) time: Between 07:03 am and 09:12 am on January 12, 2025

Note: Ekadashi fast will be observed on 11th January only as per Udayatithi.

How to observe this fast? (Simple puja method)

1. On the day of Ekadashi, wake up early in the morning, take bath and wear clean clothes.
2. Install the idol or picture of Lord Vishnu and Bal Gopal in the home temple.
3. Offer yellow flowers, Panchamrit (a mixture of milk, curd, ghee, honey, sugar), fruits and Tulsi leaves to the Lord.
4. Gopal Mantra for husband and wife together “Om Devki Sut Govind Vasudev Jagatpate, Dehi Me Tanayam Krishna Tvamaham Sharanam Gatah” Chant it 108 times.
5. Keep a fast without water or fruits throughout the day and meditate on Lord Vishnu in your mind.
6. Perform Aarti of the Lord again in the evening and break your fast the next day i.e. on Dwadashi Tithi after serving food to the Brahmin at an auspicious time.
