The investigating agencies have identified the main suspect of this blast as Dr. Omar Mohammad. Now his first picture has also come out, which has been obtained from a CCTV footage. After this picture surfaced, the investigation has gained momentum.
According to initial information, Dr. Umar Mohammad is associated with a terrorist module in Faridabad. He was working as a doctor in Al Falah Medical College, Faridabad. The agencies suspect that two more people may be involved with him in the conspiracy of this blast. It is being told that after some arrests in Faridabad, Umar and his associates got nervous and carried out this blast.
The car was parked for three hours, then there was an explosion
Investigation has revealed that the car in which the blast occurred was a Hyundai i20 and it was parked for about three hours near the Sunehri Masjid near the Red Fort. CCTV footage revealed that the car left the place around 6:52 pm and the blast occurred shortly thereafter. It has come to light that ammonium nitrate fuel oil was used in this blast.
Police have also come to know that this car was purchased just a few days ago. The car was purchased on the basis of fake documents, which is also connected to Pulwama. At present, big agencies like police and NIA are jointly investigating this matter from every angle. Dr. Umar’s mother and brothers have also been detained for questioning. It is also feared that Dr. Umar himself was present in the car at the time of the blast and it could be a suicide attack.
