Hazaribagh, 1 April (Hindustan Reporter) The Municipal Commissioner held a meeting with the corporation officials and Jamadar on Monday in view of Ram Navami, Eid, Chaiti Chhath and Sarhul festival to be held in this month.
In the meeting, reviews related to cleanliness, C&D waste lying on the road, availability of water, toilets etc. on the procession route were reviewed. Municipal Commissioner Shailendra Kumar Lal has directed the Ward Jamadars to clean the procession route and all the places on a war footing.
Instructions have been given to clean all the religious places and Sarhul ground. Instructions have been given to immediately remove the C&D waste lying on the road. Also, the residents of the city are requested to not dump bricks, gravel etc. on the road. If encroachment has been done then they should remove it themselves. Tomorrow the encroachment will be removed by the joint team of Municipal Corporation and District and financial penalty will be imposed.
Municipal Commissioner said that Hazaribagh Municipal Corporation has constituted QRT team to resolve any kind of problem during the festival. Mobile toilets will be provided as per requirement in the procession route. In view of the Chaiti festival, Head Jamadar Deepak Kumar was instructed to completely clean the ponds and rivers located within the corporation area for the Chhath fasts. Water tankers will be made available on the procession route as per requirement. Instructions were given to Arun Bawri and Deepak Kumar to comply with this.
